After you search, there will be a bar at left showing similar subjects and other ways to limit a search.
When you have found a book that you want, click the "Checkout" button. You will receive a confirmation message and be taken to the My Account screen.
Download a Book
Please realize that you must have installed & set up the free software or mobile app described on the previous page for this to work.
If not already there, go to My Account.
All of your checked out books will be listed. Click "Download" for the book.
Your browser will want to know what to do with the file. Choose to "Open" the book or confirm its download into the ereader app. Regardless of situation, your browser should "see" the installed software or mobile app as compatible with the book file and want to use it.
Your software or mobile app will open, and begin downloading the book. Once download is complete, you may begin using the book.
Books check out for 21 days, and you may have 5 books at a time.
Early return is encouraged to release the book to others. Please do this using the return option for your particular software or mobile app instead of the return feature on the My Account page.
Renewal feature is not available, but you can check a book out again if no one else was waiting on the book.
To be notified when it is your turn for a hold, go to My Account -> Profile. Click "edit" to enter your email address.
