OneClick Android App
To use OneClickdigital, you must (a) register for an account, (b) install & set up the app.
A. Register for an account (one time only)
Go to Library eCard Login above (or go to
) and sign in with your Kansas Library Card.
Choose the OneClickdigital registration link from the Digital Books eLending access links area.
You will be taken to the Create an Account screen. Fill out the form, some notes:
Username: is permanent! Pick something easy to type and remember, do not use spaces.
Password: minimum of 7 characters, use letters and numbers.
Zip code: please provide a 5-digit zip for statistical purposes.
Click the Create Account button once, and wait until "Welcome [Your Name]" appears in the upper right corner of the webpage.
B. Install & set up the mobile app:
Open the Play Store on your device (Kindle Fires - use your App Store).
Search for and install the OneClickdigital eAudio Player app onto your device (do not choose eReader version). Open app when installation is complete.
Select country of USA, then state of Kansas.
Library - enter "Kan" and tap "State Library of Kansas" when the account name appears.
Enter your OneClickdigital username and password in the final two boxes. We recommend allowing the app to retain your login information, so you do not have to enter this every time.
Upon first login, the app will show you a short tutorial. You will then be on the My Titles screen, which is the main screen of the app. It will be blank unless you had already checked out books.
Check Out a Book
In the red border at the bottom of the app, tap
A screen will come up with the choice of:
Search - can search by title, author, narrator. Willl only
Browse - tapping this allows you to choose by genre (mystery, romance, juvenile fiction, etc), also only shows books available to checkout.
Library Site - this opens the full OneClick site inside the app, where you can search the entire collection (unavailable books can be put on Hold).
Tap a book cover to see its full summary. Use the
button to check out the book. It will say "Successful" next to this button when the checkout has processed.

Your new checkout should show. If it does not, refresh the app using the button in the upper left corner (circle with two arrows).
Use a Book
You may use the download button (down arrow) first or just tap the "play" button (circular button with arrow) to start both download and play of a book.
A screen with the book's cover appears. If the book had not downloaded yet, the first part of the book will need to load (the rest of the book will download in the background as you listen).
The book begins to play. Standard playback controls are below the book cover. The app will keep your place if you pause or stop.

(info) button for the book to see the Return button, or swipe the book cover to the left.
Renew a book
- tap the
(info) button for the book to see the Renew button, or swipe the book cover to the right. This option will not work if someone else is waiting on hold for the book.
- option in bottom red border of app - use this if you would like the app to download all parts of all checked out books.
Download only on Wifi
- this option is set by default. To change it or make sure it is on, go to Settings (in bottom red border of app).
- if you have placed books on hold, this is not viewable in the app.
When it is your turn for a hold, it will check out automatically and appear in the app. You will receive an email from the system to notify you.
To view your current list of holds:
Tap the "Search" section then "Library Site." This opens the whole OneClick site inside your app.
Choose "My Collections" and then the "Holds" tab. Each book you have on hold will be listed, with your spot in line. You may also remove holds if you wish.
