Windows: software "unable to open," not showing books.
Usually you just need to clear the 3M cache in Windows. This process will not lose your checkouts or holds, that is saved on 3M's servers under your library card number.

Windows 8:
-Go to the desktop area.
-Hold down the Windows key on your keyboard (looks like a flag, usually near Alt) and press R.
-This opens the "Run" box, enter exactly %appdata% and hit enter on your keyboard.
-This should pull up a list of folders. One will be for the 3M Cloud Library. Delete this folder.
-Once this is done, close the window you have open, and reopen 3M Cloud Library. You should have to log in.

Windows 7 or Windows Vista:
-Go to the Start Menu.
-In the Search programs and files box, enter exactly %appdata% and hit enter on your keyboard.
-This should pull up a list of folders. One will be for the 3M Cloud Library. Delete this folder.
-Once this is done, close the window you have open, and try reopening 3M Cloud Library. You should have to log in.

Windows XP:
-Go to Start.
-Click on "Run."
-This should pull up a small box with a search field. Type exactly %appdata% and hit enter.
-This should pull up a list of folders. One will be for the 3M Cloud Library. Delete this folder.
-Once this is done, close the window you have open, and reopen 3M Cloud Library. You should have to log in.
