State Agencies

The State Library of Kansas provides library service to meet the needs of Kansas state employees and the legislature.

Need a book or article not found in the State Library collection? Ask about our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. This allows state employees to obtain requested items from other libraries if they are not available at the State Library. ILL can take a few days, or up to a week.

Find out how your agency can learn more about the State Library's resources and services by clicking on Available Training. This includes a form to request training on our resources.

The State Library’s research area is open by appointment only. Here is information to help you prepare for your visit.

Reference services are still available through Ask A Librarian instant message (feature to the right) or by email or phone, kslib.info/ask.
