March 3rd is World Wildlife Day and February 2nd was World Wetlands Day. In honor of the days the State Library of Kansas' KGI Online Library is offering up a wonderful publication for your viewing this week. Written by Robert L. Penner III, the book, "The Birds of Cheyenne Bottoms," was published in 2009 by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks with assistance from the Kansas Wetlands Education Center and the Nature Conservancy.
