The Library of Congress websites will be offline this weekend, starting at 4:00 p.m. Central on Friday, August 28th, and resuming 7:00 a.m. Central on Monday, August 31st.
This outage will affect: patrons using BARD, the National Library Service’s (Talking Books) download service. Books already downloaded to computers, flash drives, and mobile devices will still work, but patrons will be unable to browse for or download new books via the website or the app.
Not affected: State Library audio and ebooks systems (OneClickdigital, 3M, etc).
