A 2015 Kansas Notable Book.
Lily was put up for adoption at age 3, and her mother disappeared. She tried to forget about being adopted, but that's hard with the Korean War going on. Her Asian heritage makes her a target of racism. With the help of her little brother Ralph and artist Elliot, Lily finds the courage to investigate her origins.
Barabara Stuber will be presenting at the Kansas Book Festival on Saturday, September 12, held in Topeka at the Capitol.
