Posadas County, New Mexico, doesn't see a lot of crime. When a car full of teenagers run from a traffic stop and crashes, a large packet of drugs is found in the car. The incident is the start of violent deaths in the area, which have to be connected. Undersherrif Gastner and Detective Reyes rush to find the root before more people die. A patron recommended this to me, and I enjoyed it enough that read the next in the series immediately.
