Total Boox is the newest statewide ebook service, and was first available in November. We're doing the welcome message now due to some good recent updates in their system. If interested in our use notes, please see this page.
Total Boox (pronounced Total Books) ebook service is available to all Kansas residents. If you found other ebook solutions difficult, this one is very easy.
- Availability: All ebooks are always available for reading. No holds or wait lists.
- Simplicity: An ebook is always just a tap away on your mobile device.
- Unlimited: Downloaded ebooks never expire, checkout as many as you want at a time.
The Total Boox collection is widely varied and constantly growing. You may choose from thousands of quality titles: from mysteries, romances, and science fiction to computers, science, self-help, and business; from quilting, crafts, travel, and cooking to spirituality, biography, memoir, and YA literature.

- Log in to the “Kansas – State Library” account using your Kansas Library eCard information.
- Tap “Get Books” to begin browsing!

Total Boox Shelves Feature
Since checkouts are unlimited, Total Boox allows you to check out an entire shelf of books in one tap. You can browse shelves separately in the app, but they'll also turn up in search results. A few examples:
