Not especially interested in the summer reading theme of sports? Not all “sports” themed books are going to be nonfiction. This particular book is a romance.

The only “diamond” baseball star Xavier is interested in has three bases and a home plate. When he’s injured, team physician Dr. Frances Holden comes into his life. Since this is a romance, you can assume he quickly changes his mind about commitment!
