The State Library of Kansas is pleased to announce a new collection within the Kansas Government Information (KGI) Online Library:

Southwest Kansas Library System Newsletters, 1974-2015

The Kansas regional library systems were established by state law in 1965 to support local library service around the state. The primary goals were, and remain, the improvement of existing library services and programs and the extension of library service to areas where it was previously unavailable. (more info on the seven regional library systems in Kansas can be found here).

So put on your hiking boots, bring along a canteen of your favorite beverage (It's hot out there!), and jump into the KGI Time Machine to journey through 30 years of library service in beautiful southwest Kansas.

FEATURED AGENCY COLLECTION

We feature here a different agency or division of a large agency and its publications within the Kansas Government Information (KGI) Online Library:

The Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board was established to regulate practicing psychologists and social workers in Kansas. The Board licenses qualified psychologists, masters level psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and addictions counselors. In addition, the Board reviews and approves continuing education courses and requirements, establishes practice standards, and regulates the six professional groups. The Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) protects and serves the consumers of services offered by BSRB licensees, through the issuance of licenses, resolution of complaints and the creation of appropriate regulations, accomplished through efficiency, fairness and respect to all those involved.
