Mobile Apps - Troubleshooting

Posted on August 10, 2016 at 4:52 PM by Lianne Flax

Last week both 3M Cloud Library (ebooks) and OneClickdigital (audiobooks) had problems with their servers. Since not everyone uses their digital book apps daily, some people are only seeing that their apps  disconnected this week.

Here's what to do if your app is failing to connect for new checkouts or download books.  Your checkouts are saved on your account and are not lost.

iOS Devices (iPad/iPhone) - you need to uninstall/reinstall the app.
  1. On your device's main screen, hold down on the app until it starts to wiggle.
  2. Tap the black X on the corner of the app and confirm you wish to delete it.
  3. Click the home button to stop the other apps from wiggling.
  4. Restart your device (hold down power button until it asks to power off, do this, then turn back on).
  5. Open your App Store and reinstall the app.
Android Devices/Kindle Fires - clearing the app's data should do the trick.  If it does not, also try uninstalling/reinstalling the app.
  1. Go to the Settings icon on your device (not for the individual app).
  2. Go into Applications or Apps (older devices this is "Manage Applications."
  3. Choose the app that is not working from the list.
  4. Tap the "clear data" or "clear app data" button.

Logging back in after the fix -  your library name is State Library of Kansas!

  • 3M Cloud Library -
    • ID = Kansas Library eCard number. Lost it? Fill out this form, we will look it up and get back to you as soon as possible.
    • password = your birthdate in MMDDYYYY format
  • OneClickdigital - you were allowed to make up your own username & password.  If you've lost it, do the reset form. The OneClick system will email your username & give you a link to create a new password.
