Our librarian listservs (KanLib-L, KanILL-L, and CULS-L) are generously provided by KU. There have been some recent difficulties with the system, see message from Marianne Reed from KU IT below:
Good afternoon! I wanted to let you know that there are some technical issues with many of KU’s lists that are being investigated by KU IT staff and by Microsoft. Some list subscribers have received messages to the effect that your list subscription (to KANLIB-L, KANILL-L, etc.) has been suspended.
It is possible that some members may even have been unsubscribed from the list, but never received a notification. (The notification was sent, but blocked by the receiving email system and never delivered.) If you know others in your organization are KANLIB-L subscribers, please pass this along – the irony of sending this message via the list is not lost on us!
Please be patient while the technical support folks track down the problem(s). They have made some changes that they hope will solve the issues, but only time will tell if all of the issues have been resolved.
