With sadness, but much appreciation and support, we have accepted Lianne’s resignation as Online Services and Programming Librarian.
Lianne’s oversight and management of our Digital Books program has been invaluable to Kansas readers and librarians. Recognized as one of Library Journal’s Movers & Shakers in 2014, she is nationally known for her expertise, creativity, and outstanding people skills:
It has been such a joy to work with Lianne over the years. The State Library of Kansas was one of the initial 10 Beta accounts to first launch the cloudLibrary system back in 2012. It was not always perfect and Lianne was fantastic about not only providing praise but also giving us feedback on the product and let us know where and what we need work on. Our quality assurance team joked that between them and Lianne there would never be an undetected bug in our system. We are grateful for the feedback from all of our library partners but especially people like Lianne.
Our team is deeply passionate about what we do and we can tell that Lianne is equally passionate about her work. She was one of the most influential people involved outside of our own development team to help shape the cloudLibrary system when we were initially launching. The cloudLibrary product would not be what it is today without her involvement.
