Have you ever faked reading a book?
- The Stranger by Albert Camus
- The Educated Imagination by Northrop Frye
- A Room of One's Own by Virginia Wolf
Best library memory: Sitting among the shelves in the Wichita Public Library and smelling that old book smell.
First book you remember reading on your own? The first book I ever read is called I Can Do It Myself (a Bert and Ernie Sesame Street book)
If you could have any famous person narrates any book, who would it be, which book, & why? Benedict Cumberbatch can read anything, and I'll be happy. I love his voice and accent!
What do you find most interesting/rewarding about working at Talking Books? As someone who has trouble with my eyes sometimes, I know a little about the challenges of reading the traditional way and seeing a page. I love that we give people the opportunity to read through a different medium and that I get to be a part of that!
Farthest you’ve ever been from Kansas? London, UK
What is your favorite line from a book? "Now the trouble with trying to make yourself stupider than you actually are is that you very often succeed." -The Magician's Nephew by CS Lewis
