Jessamyn Stanley is on a mission to open the practice of yoga up to people of all body shapes and sizes. In this book, she explains the benefits of practicing yoga, how to get started, and how to get past feelings of shame and move toward self-acceptance. Both a practical guide and a meditation on body image, the book features color photos of the author demonstrating poses as well as suggestions on how to plan a yoga routine and stay motivated.
