Have you ever faked reading a book? Yes- before I learned to read for real, or when I wanted to look busy.

Best library memory: RIF (Reading is Fun(damental)) Day in elementary school- our class would go to the school library and we were allowed to pick out a free book from a selection to keep.

First book you remember being read to you? The Velveteen Rabbit.

What do you find most rewarding about working at Talking Books?
I love it when patrons or their contacts tell me how much they enjoy the books and hearing how they have really made a difference to people. I have always loved books, and it gives me a good feeling to know that we are providing a service where others who also love books can enjoy them, despite circumstances where they might otherwise be unable to do so.

Farthest you’ve ever been from Kansas? Orlando, Florida
