It's the state of Kansas' 158th birthday and here for your viewing pleasure is a small collection of material issued by the Kansas Centennial Commission back in the early 1960s when the state celebrated its 100th birthday. You'll notice among the items that come up are individual issues of the Kansas Centennial Commission's newsletter. Checking into these records take note that we've included article titles as well as the texts of many of the special photo captions. This was done to improve searching for individuals, groups, organizations, events and places involved in planning the year-long celebration.
