For the genealogists out there... An 1898 roster of volunteer troops from Kansas for the Spanish-American War.
Information includes: "Regiments, officers and privates—names, rank, and residence when enlisted. Residences given are all in Kansas, except when otherwise noted. When the residence is not printed it is unknown, or not of record."

Kansas Infantry Regiment, 20th (1898-1899)
Kansas Infantry Regiment, 21st (1898-1899)
Kansas Infantry Regiment, 22nd (1898-1899)
Kansas Infantry Regiment, 23rd (1898-1899)
The 48 page booklet was published "by authority of the of a resolution adopted by both houses of the Legislature, February 1, 1898."
