This is the fourth installment in a series of blog posts highlighting resources that are helpful for following the Kansas Legislature.
Article 2 of the
Kansas Constitution details the shape and role of the legislative body. It establishes what power the legislature has, and how it is to work. This Constitutional article provides compensation of members, terms for both chambers, as well as other requirements that affect the legislative sessions.
Also, did you know…? The Constitution, along with the Kansas Bill of Rights, is available to print in either a pocket size, or booklet size, version from the
State Library’s website.
In the right column, just click on the links on that page to download and print a Constitution in the size you want. There are even helpful instructions for folding and cutting. Be sure to use the correct browser, in this case Chrome, for an optimal printing experience.
If arts and crafts isn’t your thing, articles can be viewed and printed separately by clicking the links available in the left column.
If you have any questions about creating your own pocket Constitution, feel free to contact the State Library through
