Genealogy Resources with State Library of Kansas, Kansas Historical Society, and Dr. Andrew Smith

Join the State Library of Kansas and the Kansas Historical Society, along with Dr. Andrew Smith from Emporia State University’s School of Library and Information Management, for an overview of online genealogy resources available to all Kansans. We’ll cover Heritage Quest and Fold3, available through the State Library of Kansas, as well as free Kansas records in Ancestry and Newspapers.com, courtesy of the Kansas State Historical Society. Dr. Smith will discuss how to properly use the records found in these resources, including the newly released 1950 census records.
